Stangenwald

The Stangenwald is the meeting point in the finish area. A place to "stop and village". Here, young and old, locals and guests tell each other "Gschichtä" about yesterday, today and tomorrow.

In Stangenwald you have the opportunity to meet for lunch with bites from the region and the world. In the middle of the Adelboden sea of flags, you can watch the ski races on the grandstand with a view of the world's deadliest finish slope. In addition: On Saturday, after the second run of the giant slalom, the «Stangenwald» to music, the dance floor swung (admission public).

OFFER

  • Parking at the P+R in Reichenbach, including coffee bar
  • VIP extra bus from Reichenbach and Frutigen Train station directly to the World Cup village and back until 5.15 p.m. The public shuttles run on Saturday until 11 p.m. Frutigen and Reichenbach.
  • Catering at various stands (self-service) at Stangenwald, including drinks from 8 am to 2 pm
  • Access to the grandstand with a view of the steepest finish slope
  • Reserved seat at a table of 6 (table rows)
  • Table labeling possible from six people
  • After the 2nd run, priority admission to the Stangenwald (until 3 pm at the latest)

How to get here

ARRIVE EARLY

We appeal to all ski fans to arrive early on both race days and to allow enough time for the journey. It is better to linger in the Chuenis village with coffee and croissants and enjoy the atmosphere instead of missing the first run.
